2024: Attracting 50 million rubles of investments

Russian AI-startup Maia (Real Artificial Intelligence LLC) on February 14, 2024 announced TAdviser the attraction of 50 million rubles from private investors and several syndicates. The company develops an AI-based SaaS platform through which business can automate communications with customers.

According to Maia representatives, the investment will be used to refine and develop the boxed language model of the SaaS platform, with the help of which the business will be able to configure its multi-agent system (MAC) and integrate it into sales departments, support service, as well as use it in solving other business problems where AI assistance is required.

In particular, using the platform, you can configure an AI call center (for processing incoming and outgoing calls), an AI-HR'a (for studying candidates, conducting primary interviews and organizing), an AI concierge for hotels and LCDs, an AI lawyer (for studying documents and drawing up contracts), an AI business assistant, an AI smmcher (for automating SMM in the company), an AI travel agent (for compiling routes). The Maia platform uses Speech to Text technologies to convert a voice request into text and Text to Speech to create an audio response.

We build the logic of the AI employee's behavior over the language model. Therefore, Maia takes into account the context of the dialogue and is able to conduct natural conversations, - the developers explained.

In addition, the startup intends to continue development in the UK market, where it began operating at the end of 2023. The plans for 2024 are to launch in the Latin American market and in a number of other developing countries.

"At the end of February, we are launching the first version of our platform. Any business will be able to launch its own AI agent for sales or support in several instant messengers and social networks at once, "said Maia founder Oleg Lupikov.

2023: Attracting 12 million rubles of investments

In November 2023, Maia closed the pre-seed round of financing, the volume of investments in which reached 12 million rubles with an estimate of 240 million rubles. As specified in the company, the funds to the startup were provided by investors from the IT industry.
