2024: Taking the first electric bus to the route

In Taganrog, the first electric bus entered the route. The start of the movement was given by the governor of the Rostovskaya region Vasily Golubev. As part of the state program, 10 units of environmentally friendly transport were purchased for the city and ultra-fast charging stations were installed. The project for their construction was implemented by the operator of the electric charging infrastructure for transport Sitronics Electro (part of the Sitronics Group). Sitronics announced this on February 15, 2024.

Four ultra-fast "urban" and "park" stations were installed in the city - with six domes to simultaneously charge six units of transport thanks to the technology of uniform power distribution between them. In order to start the charging process, the driver just needs to connect with a pantograph to the dome without leaving the cab.

In total, in 2023, according to the national project, the Rostov Region received 40 electric buses and 14 charging stations for Rostov-on-Don, Volgodonsk and Taganrog. All of them were put into operation by the operator Sitronics Electro.

In 2023, we provided nine cities with electric charging infrastructure, where projects were implemented as part of the development of the state program for the development of electric transport.
