AMT Group delivered the solution NetScout nGenius to Raiffeisenbank for network traffic control

The AMT Group company completed delivery to Raiffeisenbank of a management system for performance of network infrastructure and network traffic control. A new system allows bank to control process of operation of data transmission channels by means of which the staff of bank branches across all Russia interacts with corporate information resources. A system is the instrument of expense control when settlings with providers and also planning of the rented resources, says AMT Group.

The solution is implemented based on NetScout nGenius product family from NetScout Systems. At the current stage the control system of traffic is unrolled at three Moscow offices of bank at which termination of connections of IP VPN channels of providers is executed. Before implementation test solution deployment based on a demo equipment of AMT Group was carried out.

Using a new system specialists of Raiffeisenbank keep quantitative account of amounts and types of the consumed traffic and on the basis of these data control financial settlement with providers. Monitoring of corporate traffic provides accounting of total amount of the transferred data by QoS, collecting of statistics on different applications and services, users, servers, sessions, branches, detection of the most active applications, users, sessions. The constructed system provides drawing up reports and evident information representation to all interested persons and also export of statistics to external systems for postprocessing. Data retrieveds allow to perform optimization of the existing infrastructure and to plan further development of channel resources.

Within expansion of a system the bank is going to place nGenius devices in regional branches. It will allow to control local traffic, to identify, localize quickly and to react proactively to possible performance concerns of IT infrastructure and services. The scalability of the NetScout nGenius family will allow to execute these completions during the minimum time and will provide seamless integration of new devices in an existing solution.

The product family of nGenius is aimed at performance review of networks in real time that gives the chance to estimate an overall picture of network condition and network resources. Their use allows to increase quality of providing services due to preventive detection of problems with performance, reduction of time of diagnostics and failure handling in network functioning.
