Valuehost

The company provides a hosting on the UNIX-PLATFORM based on the FreeBSD operating system. Current versions of MySQL, PostgreSQL, PHP, Perl, Python are supported. For March, 2010 installs versions of Perl 5.8.9 and PHP 5.2.9 with MySQL 5.0.27 and PostgreSQL 8.3 on all new ValueHost servers. PHP for ValueHost works in the "safe_mode Off" mode that gives additional benefits for developers of web applications for PHP on ValueHost hosting.

Physically servers of the company are placed on 5 technology platforms: two in St. Petersburg, one in Moscow, one in London, one in San Jose (USA). Valuehost has direct connection to Utransit communication channel Moscow − St. Petersburg − London.

The interregional ValueHost data network and also infrastructure of data centers of ValueHost, is constructed on SONET IP MPLS technology, using high-performance routers of Juniper Networks company and Cisco switches with automatic reservation of channels of data with use of BGP technology.

• From 2002 to 2005 the company takes the leading positions in Russia by quantity of the serviced domain names in the zone .ru
• 2004 — the company is awarded with the diploma of the Russian fund of consumer protection "For a contribution to formation of civilized consumer market in Russia"
• 2004 — Artemy Lebedev's studio is developed the new corporate style and new design of the website valuehost.ru
• 2006 — the company opens the second data center in St. Petersburg
• In 2007 — 2008 the company an input in top three by quantity of the serviced domain names in the zone .ru
• 2009 — the company opens the hosting platform in data center in the USA, San Jose
• As of January 1, 2010 the ValueHost company is included into top ten by the number of the domains registered for clients in the zone .ru.
• The spring of 2010 is Valuehost company, including the remained days before start of the new platform of a hosting of Valuehost 2.0 and the new version of the official site of the company, provided a number of trainings of the employees directed to increase in skill level.
• April, 2010 — official start of the new website Valuehost and new control panel services.
