2024: Transfer to the ownership of the Krasnodar Territory

On February 19, 2024, the administration Krasnodar Territory announced the liquidation of the Krasnodar City Pharmacy Administration municipal unitary enterprise, which operates under the Kuban Pharmacy brand. It is said that pharmacies will continue to function in the usual format. All jobs will remain, the issuance of preferential medicines will be made in full at the previous addresses. The reorganization process will be carried out so that customers do not feel the changes.

Kuban Pharmacies is the oldest pharmacy chain in the Krasnodar Territory. As of February 2024, it combines 21 outlets, four pharmacy outlets and a reference and information center. The staff includes more than 300 people. The chain's pharmacies prepare medicines according to individual prescriptions - drugs that are not manufactured at the factory. In turn, Kubanfarmatsiya includes a retail chain of pharmacies from more than 80 outlets throughout the Krasnodar Territory and a pharmacy warehouse. The organization employs over 500 employees. Among other things, the Company stores, transports, disposes of, distributes, acquires, and destroys narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. In addition, there is a wholesale trade in medicines for medical use.

The liquidation of the Krasnodar City Pharmacy Administration, according to Sergei Shulyak, CEO of DSM Group, is aimed at consolidating all state assets. It is assumed that this will help improve the manageability as well as the availability of medicines (including preferential drugs) for patients.^[1]
