3CX for Iphone

3CX announced in November, 2010 release 3CXPhone for Iphone. From now on the application will be available via AppStore Apple. Softphone 3CXPhone for Iphone can be installed on the Apple iPhone, Ipad and ITouch under control of IOS 4.0 or above.

Connection to the server of VoIP-automatic telephone exchange of 3CX Phone System is performed through Wi-Fi or 3G. Besides, you can use it in a combination with the desktop device (by means of SIP forking calls will pass both on stationary phone, and on Iphone), such solution can be a quite good alternative to expensive Wi-Fi to tubes (for example, ITouch quite budget version of the IC a connectivity to a wireless network).

3CXPhone for Iphone can also work with other SIP-of automatic telephone exchange and also most of VoIP-operators.

The program gives the chance to owners of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch free of charge to call through 3G and Wi-Fi of network, at the same time 3CXPhone works in the background. The main difference 3CXPhone from similar to it programs is that it is not attached to one provider of VoIP-telephony or any one IP PBX. Therefore the user himself can select the SIP operator or the IP PBX, including such popular as 3CX Phone System and Asterisk.

Today 3CXPhone the only free VoIP-application which allows to do call transfer. In the softphone integration into the address directory iPhone and support of several SIP profiles is implemented, it gives the chance to register the internal and external IP address of office IP PBX. Thus, the user 3CXPhone can not care for where he is – in office or beyond its limits, it is equally convenient and profitable to it to use an IP telephony.

At the moment in the program (assembly 1.0.22) following features are implemented:

• support of TCP transport;
• shutdown of the microphone during call transfer;
• switching between an internal and foreign address of the server;
• autoprovision Extension ID и Auth ID;
• the configured local and server SIP port;
• the configured SIP Proxy;
• the configured local RTP port;
• in the address directory it is possible to convert optionally "+" into "00";
• adding of a prefix to numbers of contacts from the address directory for involvement of rules of office SIP of automatic telephone exchange is possible;
• playing of music stops automatically at receipt of a call.

Version 1.0.23

The main highlight of the SIP client 3CXPhone for iPhone is independence of a certain VoIP-provider or a binding to one IP station. For fixing of this advantage with developers in new release the main changes were made – the functionality at connection of the device to 3CX or other IP PBXs is considerably improved.

The corrections made to release 1.0.23:

• the improved work with profiles;
• correct switching off of the application;
• canceling of SIP-of registration at an exit;
• work with STUN is improved;
• the application is not closed, in the absence of access or loss of network;
• removal "-" for numbers of Russia and the USA;

• multitasking based on "Force Activ";
• automatic re-registration based on rPort/received (SIP Helper);

• automatic canceling of registration or re-registration at contact change;
• name task for profiles;
• when transferring a call the subscriber is put on deduction;
• re-registration with an interval 120 sec.

3CXPhone for iPhone of version 1.1.4

The main difference of release 1.1.4 of program phone 3CXPhone for iPhone became support of IOS 5. Function of echo suppression and a number of corrections for remote connection is also added (out of office). The utility steadily works at all line of mobile devices of Apple with connection on WiFi or 3G.

The new features added in 3CXPhone for iPhone of version 1.1.4:

• switch of the profiles "At Office — Is Absent";
• start-up screen is made;
• the SIP engine for the best processing of audio and routing of calls is optimized;
• processing of GSM calls is improved;

Also new release of softphone 1.1.4 has a set of useful changes:

• error at call processing not on port 5060;
• error at registration reset;
• sounds of clicking of buttons are heard in the headset after the first call;
• the sound of a call is heard only in the earphone after the first call;
• the error at permission of STUN leading to hangup at start;
• error at autotune, when port not 5060;
• the duplicate of INVITE at an outgoing call / deduction and removal;
• the distance sensor (switches-off the display at a conversation) works only during an active call now.
