Transfer resource management in Transcreditbank is upgraded on the Circuit VRM-platform

JSC Transcreditbank announced in December, 2010 the next results of automation of calculation of standards according to the Instruction of Bank of Russia No. 110-I "Obligatory standards of banks". Based on the corporate data warehouse Circuit developed by Intersoft Lab company tens of interpretations and standards of H1, H6, H7, H9.1, N 10.1 are calculated. It became possible thanks to huge work which the bank carries out for ensuring quality of data.

About implementation of new functionality within the project of creation of the Single system of the reporting on the basis of the corporate data warehouse Circuit (further KHD) in JSC Transcreditbank was told by the assistant department head of management and the reporting of this credit institution Darya Zubareva at the IX Forum "IT in the financial sphere" which took place in Moscow in Marriott Tverskaya hotel.

The project of automation of the reporting for the Bank of Russia and calculation of obligatory standards of bank on the basis of KHD was initiated in July, 2009, and since March 1, 2010 the solution is found in commercial operation. For the last six months the structure of problems which are solved at the expense of the corporate data warehouse significantly extended. Now using HD in Transcreditbank the release of such irregular shapes of the obligatory reporting as 0409117, 0409118, 0409125, 0409128, etc. Besides, now in storage significantly the augmented list of the calculated interpretations according to the Instruction of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation No. 110-I is performed.

The uniqueness of the project of automation of the regulatory reporting in Transcreditbank consists that already at the first stage of its implementation there was an effective objective to perform release of the most irregular report forms, including to execute calculation of standards for which it is required to process in storage not only accounting data, but also all data specified in agreements. The solution of this task imposes special quality requirements of data, i.e. to ensuring their completeness, reliability, accuracy and timeliness of providing. Mrs. Zubareva considers that "the quality of the reporting is defined by quality of data". And, as the lecturer, in terms of accounting noted, information can be quite correct, and in terms of the reporting, – absolutely unsuitable. A problem of quality of data – a problem of the increased complexity. On its solution in bank about 80% of labor costs in the project leave, it assumes also application of special integration software – Informatica Power Center, and development of technology of "enrichment of data", and creation of special interfaces for input of missing data, attributes and signs, and implementation of organizational measures for making changes in the accounting systems and regulations of work of operators

Darya Zubareva in the performance at an IT forum highlighted: "On the basis of corporate HD we need to provide release of the obligatory reporting, reporting under IFRS, management reporting, product reporting for the interested divisions. As practice showed, solutions on ensuring quality of data and enrichment of data are universal, and any reporting uses their results".

In September, 2011 JSC Transcreditbank announced that the solution for automation of planning and control of execution of the estimate of administrative expenses is upgraded. As a result planning process became simpler and is more transparent. There were additional opportunities for operating control of expenses. Time costs for accounting of the actual execution of payments were reduced, and the structure of the management reporting on execution of the estimate significantly was replenished.

The Budget of Household Expenses application is intended for automation of planning of overhead budgets and the capital investments, operating control of economic payments, accounting of the actual budget implementation, report generation according to the plan-fact analysis of execution of the estimate in scales of all bank. For accounting of the actual payments data of the storage integrated with the core banking system are used. Thus, this IT solution provides all cycle of the actions connected with planning and control of budget implementation of household expenses.

Transition to the new application version allowed Transcreditbank to optimize practically all processes of management of costs.

The new functionality for accounting of economic agreements significantly simplified planning process of the estimate of administrative expenses. Planning documents automatically consider data on the entered agreements on the basis of their payment schedules. The instruments of setup of regulations of planning which appeared in the updated system allow not only to differentiate access for each authorized specialist / division to planning documents of the budget, but also to regulate when these specialists or divisions can enter and adjust documents. Use of tools for management of regulations helped to make planning process is more transparent, to exclude cases of unauthorized editing of budget documents.

More flexible approach to the organization of process of control of payments for the estimate – at the expense of an opportunity operational (plus to quarterly) redistributions of planned values according to budget items by smetooobrazuyushchy and authorized divisions is implemented. The accounting procedure of actually made expenses accelerated.

Implementation of the new application version "The budget of household expenses" as a part of a complex BPM system allowed not only to expand a set of reports on execution of the estimate, but also to obtain exact data on economic costs in the management reporting, to provide to the management of Transcreditbank detailed analytics of this account part of the budget. It means that a number of articles of the managerial profit and loss statement can be detailed under the articles of the estimate now. And for convenience of the further analysis reports can be received in different cuts (on projects, branches, etc.).

The updated application for planning and control of budget implementation of household expenses works on DBMS Oracle that corresponds to the IT strategy of JSC Transcreditbank.


In March, 2012 it was reported that in JSC Transcreditbank IT support of management of transfer income and expenses according to credit and deposit transactions of physical persons and legal entities on the basis of the new technique of transfer pricing accepted in credit institution is implemented. Implementation of a BPM-application "Transfer resource management" of production of Intersoft Lab company gives the chance to top management of Bank to obtain information on real profitability of divisions and the different directions of banking business.

In JSC Transcreditbank the solution of Intersoft Lab company intended for automation of transfer management of financial resources of bank is implemented. The BPM-application "Transfer resource management" performs IT support of management of transfer income and expenses in the field of credit deposit transactions of legal entities and physical persons. The mechanism of internal redistribution of financial resources of bank is an important component of a system of assessment of profitability of business divisions and the directions of banking activity within management accounting.

This project continued development of the corporate BPM system of bank automating business performance management (Business Performance Management, BPM) on the Circuit VRM-platform. Transcreditbank, one of the largest domestic credit institutions entering in Top-15 of the Russian banks on assets uses the data warehouse Circuit since 2001. Solutions of Intersoft Lab automate in bank business performance management processes, including financial consolidation, management accounting, planning and control of execution of the estimate of administrative expenses, etc. Also with the help the Circuit BPM platform is kept preparation managerial and other types of the reporting.

Control automation by transfer transactions was carried out taking into account the Method of calculation of the amount of funding and the transfer price agreed in Transcreditbank.

The Transfer Resource Management application created on the Circuit platform allows to increase quality of management accounting, gives the chance is transparent to create indicators of profitability and to define efficiency of specific divisions and activities of Bank, promotes ensuring unity of technologies for corporate management by branches.
