2024: Start of Sales

At the end of February 2024, Rostec announced the start of deliveries of IP-KVM switches intended for remote control from one workplace with server equipment, personal computers and numerical control machines. We are talking about equipment developed by NPP "Salyut" holding "Roselectronics" and created on the basis of domestic components. The first buyers of the devices were oil and gas and transport enterprises.

As the press service of Rostec explains, the IP-KVM switch (keyboard, video, mouse - "keyboard, video, mouse") allows you to remotely turn on and off, reboot, configure the bootloader and other software. Management is performed via a web interface, so you do not need to install additional programs or drivers on connected devices.

It is noted that IP-KVM switches developed by Salyut NPP automate the management of hardware complexes, including those not adapted for remote access. The device also makes it possible to distinguish access to managed equipment for different categories of users. According to the developers, the capabilities of the equipment can be expanded by installing additional software modules, and the device software can be updated remotely without connecting to the Internet in automated mode.

According to Alexander Bushuev, General Director of NPP Salyut, the IP-KVM switch operating system is included in the register of domestic software. He emphasized that the deep localization of equipment allowed the enterprise to solve such problems as reducing dependence on foreign vendors, reducing maintenance costs and expanding technical support capabilities, as well as increasing the availability and security of devices.[1]
