IBS DataFort will be responsible for service maintenance of four subsystems of the AIS "Professional education"

The IBS DataFort company signed the public contract on execution of works on service maintenance of automated information system Professional education of the Moscow Department of Education. The company acquired the right to execute the project during the open competition, the total cost of works on which is about 11.5 million rubles until the end of 2010.

It is not the first experience of cooperation of IBS DataFort with the Moscow Department of Education. From July to December, 2009 IBS DataFort provided technical support of the AIS, providing services in service and administration of server complexes and also the organizations of dispatching service and support of end users.

The AIS "Professional education" is the key IT tool for optimization of technologies of management and support of work of the Moscow Department of Education with more than 90 organizations of primary and secondary professional education. In accordance with the terms the new contract IBS DataFort is responsible for service maintenance of four subsystems of the AIS "Professional education", including training, consultation and technical support of users of the Single System of Remote Education (SSRE); upgrade and setup of the websites of colleges and network organizations; administration of the Professional education portal (www.profedu.ru); consultation of users concerning work with the System of professional orientation and psychological testing and also backup of all data of the AIS.

After signing of the public contract, IBS DataFort carried out works on upgrade and fault recovery in operability of a system, including updating of the application software and also recovery of software modules, databases and communication channels. At the moment operation of systems is conducted in the normal mode.
