2022: Use of Vitro-CAD for maintenance of Lakhta Center IFC building

The customer has an agreement for the maintenance of the facade structures of the building "Arch of the main entrance" IFC "Lakhta Center." To perform works under this contract, the customer was required to:

• Organize a system for storing documentation for this object, including work with detailed design documentation and BIM models;
• Ensure the collection and storage of information on defects of the facility;
• Provide the opportunity to create requests for elimination of defects;
• Monitor and analyze current and completed applications;
• Use only domestic software.

Prerequisites for Pig Implementation

• The need to organize a shared data environment for the collaboration of multiple participants, including various legal entities.
• Record defects and maintenance history up to individual elements.

Tasks that needed to be addressed during the implementation process

• Organization of electronic archive of working documentation.
• Automate the collection, structuring and storage of site defect information.
• Creation of a system of requests for elimination of defects.
• Review and control of current and completed applications.
• Uploading data for transfer to the counterparty in the form of reports.
• Ensuring the security of project data.

Project progress

• Prepare cloud space and basic software to install and configure Vitro-CAD online.
• The Vitro-CAD online system has been installed in the basic configuration.
• Decision-making on documentation structure and processes.
• Harmonize and manage data collection processes.
• Configuration of working documentation storage structure.
• Prepare user instructions and train users.
• Connect users to the Vitro-CAD online system.

Implementation results

• An efficient document storage structure has been created in the Vitro-CAD online system.
• Tools for creating requisitions and dealing with defects have been set up.
• Improved performance discipline through notice and request reminders.
• Control, planning and analysis of applications is ensured.
• Delineation of access rights ensured effective information security of the system.
