I-Teco will take part in a large-scale modernization of the Vyazemsky Mill

2024: Construction begins

The I-Tec o Group and the Melkom Group of Companies on March 6, 2024 announced the start of a project to build a boiler house to provide steam and hot water to a complex for the production of extruded pet food and aquaculture. The plant, located in the city of VyazmaSmolensk region, resumed work in August 2020 after a 5-year downtime.

Taking into account the good indicators obtained by IBD since the launch of the plant, the Melkom group of companies decided to increase the scale of modernization of the enterprise, production volumes and launch new production, in particular, two automatic feed production lines.

To modernize the enterprise and expand the production of VZK LLC, the construction of a steam boiler house was required. JSC I-Teco was chosen as the contractor. The project will be implemented by the specialists of the subsidiary of LLC TIREN within 11 months.

Specialists of the company "TIREN," engaged in the sale of small power facilities "turnkey," were able to offer conditions in particular:

• short delivery time for the main equipment (3-4 months faster than competing proposals) due to the reservation of boiler production long before the start of tender procedures;
• execution of the entire scope of work on the project by own;
• development and provision to IBD of a part of the design documentation sections at the tender procedures stage, which made it possible to significantly increase the detail of the technical and commercial proposal and the boiler house budget as a whole;
• provision of 3D visualization of the future boiler house.

According to the project, the capacity of the (gas) steam-water boiler house will be 16 tons of steam (12 bar) and 16.5 MW of thermal capacity. The main generating equipment will be domestic steam and water heating equipment - boilers "LAVART," one of the representatives for the production of boilers in Russia, and burner devices from the leading Russian manufacturer - "Burner Equipment Plant."
