MCIS (Motion Control Information System)

Motion Control Information System is developed by Siemens AG concern – integrated solution for automation of production processes, quality improvement of products and performance, reduction of equipment downtimes, increase in production efficiency, for the enterprises of automotive industry in Europe.

The MCIS system is a production executive system. The systems of such class solve problems of synchronization, coordinate, analyze and optimize production within production. The main thing – an opportunity to make the verified management decisions, relying on information which is provided by a MES system.

A MES system still is a new western trend in Russia, however it is clear that industrial automation is vital. In the conditions of fierce competition the main business mission of domestic manufacturing enterprises is cost reduction and quality improvement of products by use of modern methods of management. This purpose is achievable by liquidation of the routine transactions braking intensity of production processes and also integration in real time of information flows based on an information system of all enterprise. MES is a system in which all information on production helping effectively them to manage is flown down.

TPM (management of maintenance of the equipment) ─ the Packet of TPM (Total Production Maintenance) does the equipment less vulnerable to breakdowns and more reliable. This software module automates execution of works on preventive maintenance and optimizes on speed calls in the service center using "early warning system". A system reminds personnel of need of maintenance in advance. It prevents failures of the machine, saves personnel from a number of problems and increases equipment employment duration.

TDI (control of the tool) ─ the Packet of TDI (Tool Data Information) provides access to all necessary data of tools in any place and at any time. Allows to plan distribution and control of the tool, to reduce time for its adjustment and change.

MDA (data recording about a condition of equipment) ─ the Packet of MDA (Machine Data Acquision) allows to control work and a condition of equipment, by data arriving from management systems.
