VMware fixes growth of clients in Russia since the beginning of year for 32%

The VMware company recorded this year sales increase in Russia and the CIS: today sales growth is expressed by three-digit number. The customer base of the company since the beginning of this year increased by 32%. So obvious positive results are explained by the amplifying client demand for technologies of virtualization and "cloud" calculations.
Sales of VMware among the state and private enterprises increased in 2010 three times. Products of the company were especially demanded in the bank, oil and gas, telecommunication and transport industries and also in public sector. However the most significant growth showed medium and small business (SMB). In the last two years the number of the SMB enterprises using technologies of VMware in Russia and the CIS doubled. Thus, medium and small business became one of the most fast-growing segments of the customer base of VMware.
Cooperation of VMware with regional partners became one more factor which defined success. The number of the companies which are actively selling solutions based on technologies of VMware increased since January of this year by 60%. The total quantity of partners of VMware in Russia and the CIS exceeds 500 for today.

- Since this year, VMware offers the clients full Russian-language support. The possibility of use of a mother tongue considerably will facilitate interaction of regional customers with VMware.
- In the summer of 2010 the representative office of VMware in Kazakhstan which is considered one of the most perspective markets in the former Soviet Union opened.
