2024: CCT Data Warehouse Optimization
ITL helps Zolla to optimize its data storage facilities for fiscal compliance. The conversion process will last a year (from December 2023 to December 2024) and will affect 472 stores and 1,025 cash registers. ITL announced this on March 12, 2024.
In response to changes in fiscal legislation, the retailer turned to ITL with the task of optimizing the storage of data and equipment of 100% of the cash register fleet throughout Russia with additional drives. The devices shall provide an uncorrectable record in their memory of the required list of fiscal data and non-volatile storage of them within the time limits established by law.
The project includes replacing SSD cash registers with more capacious drives. Depending on the CCP model, these are either storage SATA with a 3.5 interface or M.2. The selection was stopped on SSD ADATA because they have a faster read/write speed. For migration from previous stores, an image with data is backed up.
The main difficulty of the project is that one of the key areas of development of the Zolla brand is the opening of stores in small cities located far from the center.
To solve the problem of lack of capacity in remote regions of the country, including in the Far North, their own production resources and a system for providing the necessary spare parts were organized. This made it possible to maintain high-quality service regardless of the location of the outlet and strict compliance with the deadlines, said Mikhail Fomichev, director of ITL.

As a result, more capacious drives at cash terminals, in addition to compliance with fiscal legislation, will provide faster access to data, increasing system performance and reliability, reducing the likelihood of errors and failures.
