2024: Product Announcement

In early March 2024, Anyware Robotics introduced a system called Pixmo for automated unloading of containers and semi-trailers. The new solution is expected to help reduce the burden on workers and increase the level of security when performing various tasks.

The complex consists of an industrial robotic manipulator and a lift with a conveyor belt. Pixmo's platform is claimed to deliver performance of up to 1,000 boxes per hour - that is, about one box every 4 seconds. Anyware Robotics claims that the system can be adapted for various tasks, for example, for laying boxes on shipping pallets or, conversely, for unloading them.

The complex includes a six-axle manipulator manufactured by Fanuc, at the end of which there is a set of suction cups. Transportation belt consists of two parts. One of them has a horizontal location and is located directly in front of the manipulator: a robotic arm moves the boxes onto it. Second section of conveyor is made in form of inclined plane along which boxes are moved outwards.

Machine vision helps to determine the size of the boxes and optimize the position of the elevator. Thanks to this, roboruka moves loads without unnecessary turns and movements. In general, the system makes it possible to significantly improve the efficiency of unloading or warehousing. Anyware Robotics says the Pixmo system is cost-effective. It is claimed that the cost of the complex is approximately one third of the price of similar solutions. The payback period is approximately two years. It is also noted that the platform is certified according to the ISO standard.[1]
