2017: Analysis of the capabilities and limitations of production business processes

At the beginning of the project, the demand for products exceeded the foundry and mechanical plant "Crane Technologies." The task was to organize production in such a way as to fulfill the increased volume of orders. BFG Group conducted a project to analyze the capabilities and limitations of production business processes of Crane Technologies LLC based on the use of its own software.

Within the framework of the project, the following works were carried out:

• Stage of collection, verification and validation; data
• A simulation production model has been created;
• Analysis of opportunities and limitations was carried out;
• Alternative "how can it be" models have been built with a set of restrictions;
• A project for comprehensive reengineering of the enterprise based on a digital model with a payback period of 3 months has been developed.

As a result of the implementation of the reengineering plan prepared by BFG Group, the results were achieved:

• Reduced production cycles by 4 times;
• Increased performance by 2 times;
• Reduced the volume of work in progress and inventory by 2.5 times;
• Increased profit 4 times.
