2022: Implementation of an intelligent platform for production management and planning

The IMZ enterprise did not have a single information platform that allows it to competently plan and dispatching production. In turn, this led to large volumes of products in warehouses (frozen capital). To solve this problem, the IMZ successfully implemented a project to implement an intelligent platform for production management and planning from BFG Group. The goal of the project was to implement end-to-end planning and production management from the strategic level to the issuance of shift-daily tasks to workers.

Within the framework of the project, the following works were carried out:

• Stage of data collection, verification and validation;
• A simulation production model has been created;
• Optimization proposals have been developed on the model;
• BFG platform for automation of production planning and dispatching has been implemented.

Project results:

• Increased labor productivity by 15%;
• Reduced WIP, increased turnover ratio;
• Shortening the production cycle;
• Updated regulatory reference information;
• Increased transparency and controllability of production;
• It is possible to simulate a production program with any horizon with a simulation time of up to 15 minutes;
• Problems with optimal production load (equipment, headcount) have been solved;
• At least 85% planning accuracy is ensured (taking into account restrictions in the availability of equipment, headcount, working hours, etc.);
• 300 users are involved in the synchronous production planning system.
