2024: Appointment as CEO of the Russian division of Booking

On March 15, 2024, Букинг.ком Rusia, the Russian structure of the Internet booking service for Booking.com hotels, appointed a new general director. Anna Filatova took over this position, replacing Yulia Lupanova.

In the current geopolitical situation, the Booking.com service suspended work in Russia in early March 2022: it became impossible to book housing located on the territory of the Russian Federation through the platform. At the same time, in the same year, Букинг.ком Rusia LLC changed its general director: the company was headed by Lupanova, who took over the reins from Alexei Matushkin (he held the post since May 2017). And since mid-March 2024, the Russian subsidiary of Booking.com has been headed by Filatova, who is also the general director of Konnov and Sozanovsky Law Company LLC.

In the structure of LLC "Букинг.ком Russia" a share of 98.9% belongs to the Dutch "BuckinghamCom International B.V.," the remaining 1.1% - "BuckinghamCom Limited" in Britain. The main area of activity is "market research." In addition, another area of work has been announced - activities to provide other support services for business, not included in other groups. Букинг.ком Rusia was registered in Moscow in 2009. Its authorized capital is 78.54 million rubles.

It is noted that as of March 2024, almost 20 enforcement proceedings were initiated against Букинг.ком Rusia. The company participated in five arbitration cases, in three of which - as a defendant. The company's revenue in Russia at the end of 2022 (the latest available data) amounted to 399.5 million rubles (625.5 million rubles in 2021), net profit - almost 77 million rubles against 289 million rubles in 2021.[1]
