Prerequisites of the Project
The JSC "Proton" — Perm Motors company passed to personnel records in the HCM SAP ERP system: input of the corresponding module in commercial operation it was announced at the beginning of June, 2012.
Let's remind that the project on SAP implementation of ERP started on JSC "Proton"-PM about two years ago. In its framework the company refused old corporate ERP of the 1C Platform, and at the moment as representatives of system integrator (and it in both projects same specified TAdviser – ASAP Consulting) in SAP ERP 550 users work already.
As Oleg Knishka, the head of department of SAP-HRM of ASAP Consulting, before start of the HRM project lack of a single system of registration of personnel [[Book Oleg Rimontasovich|]] explained TAdviser, the separation of data was complicated significantly by process of collecting, processing and control of information.
It was connected with the fact that the payroll system which is historically used JSC "Proton"-PM under the name "Interface" became already morally outdated: the company used many years still the DOS version of this system based on DBF-files.
It is not surprising that, having about 4.5 thousand employees in the state, JSC "Proton"-PM as a result made the decision to move payroll and registration of personnel to the new corporate information platform. "In 2010 at the enterprise the cardinal decision about SAP implementation of ERP, first of all in production, finance and logistics was made. In this case SAP implementation of HCM on a single platform became logically and economically reasonablly", - Oleg Knishka explained.
Project Progress
The project on SAP implementation of HCM is broken into three stages. The main focus was placed on the first stage on conducting personnel records, a possibility of making changes in an organization structure and staff lists and also on a time recording. The second stage relating to personnel management provides automation of payroll. At the third stage it is going to implement portal services of self-service and some functionality of a circuit Talent management. The project budget does not reveal.
Features of implementation
Feature of the first stage of the project on JSC "Proton"-PM was the "positive" time recording, i.e. accounting of the actual attendance time in a workplace of employees which is implemented by means of integration with a control and management system for access (ACS). In "Time recording" the main processing and calculation of all temporary data is made, time payment types which are transferred afterwards to a cash equivalent are created, assessed with taxes and transferred to the module "Management of Finance". At the moment this task is solved.
The second stage of implementation
The ASAP Consulting company began with spring of 2012 the second stage of SAP implementation of ERP HCM regarding payroll on JSC "Proton" — Perm Motors. Implementing solution logically continues automation of the basic functions which are a part of SAP HCM.
The second stage assumes implementation of calculation of the time salary on the basis of already implemented earlier in commercial operation a component of the module SAP HCM - "Management of an Organization Structure", Personnel records, "Time recording". A framework of the project provides also integration of the module of payroll into the modules CO (controlling), FI (accounting), FI-SL (tax accounting). It is planned that the project will be complete already by the end of 2012 and is put into productive operation. JSC "Proton"-PM expects that the possibility of more flexible and transparent cost management on personnel, acceptances of high-quality management decisions will become result of implementation of payroll.
