2024: Implementation of automatic notification of customers about ongoing transactions with goods and orders
Faberlic has introduced a service to automatically notify customers about ongoing transactions with goods and orders through channels such as sms, push, email. The system will reduce operating costs for sending notifications by 20%. The technological partner of the project was Neoflex, which announced this on March 26, 2024.
The solution supports the sending of user notifications to both employees (agents) who sell products and customers who order goods on the site or in. application Faberlic previously used the services of the only one provider to send sms-alerts, which increased the operating costs associated with the delivery of notifications to users located countries CIS in and abroad.
As a result of the project, the Neoflex team implemented a scalable smart notification service with the ability to flexibly connect local telecom operators in fifteen countries where the company operates. The presented solution is built in a microservice architecture, easily scalable and allows you to connect any provider: the system receives a request to send a notification and the "smart" algorithm determines the appropriate local provider to send it. The cost of sending notifications is expected to be reduced by 20%.
The system supports sending notifications through a single API through three channels: sms, push and e-mail. The solution allows you to flexibly manage routes and notification patterns through the web interface of the service. In addition, it supports analytical reporting, which provides information about the number of delivered or undelivered messages, incorrect numbers, which allows you to eliminate possible problems with the quality of contact data. At the same time, the service provides reliable delivery of notifications under high load due to the ability to scale components horizontally.
Faberlic had the task of developing a microservice notification management application that needed to be implemented quickly, efficiently and in accordance with the development processes already built in the company. Thanks to the great experience of our team both in the development of microservices and in DevOps, it was possible to start development in our own public cloud space as soon as possible, and then seamlessly transfer it to the Faberlic circuit. The ability to quickly scale our own development in full accordance with internal processes is what we guarantee to all our customers, "said Denis Knyazev, Director of Business Development at Neoflex. |
Informing and sending notifications has long been included in the usual user experience and is an integral part of the business that conducts remote sales. The customer base of our company has 3.5 million customers in 15 countries, so the cost of sending messages to customers is quite significant. For this reason, we decided to implement a "smart" notification service that allows us to choose the channel that is most suitable for the cost and speed of delivery. The planned payback of this project is 12 months and the results of the first months of operation of the solution are confirmed by these figures, - said Valery Kaplenko, General Director of Expert LLC (IT-Faberlik Company). |
