2024: Using MIS qMS
The clinic of the Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Transplantology named after R.M. Gorbacheva - a large transplantation center in Europe - passed the next stage of international accreditation JACIE and confirmed compliance with European practices. The inspectors assessed the quality control system and the associated medical and management documentation of the medical institution. The electronic document flow of the clinic is provided using MIS qMS from SP.ARM, which announced this on March 27, 2024.
Using MIS qMS, the clinic specialists form reports and tabular materials for analyzing the state of the donor and patient, assessing the quality of the transplantation stages. The system also helps to track the main results of clinical activities and carry out the necessary corrective procedures. In qMS, you can set up a physician's automated workplace so that the statuses reflect the mandatory indicators that are included in the reports.
The system helps you complete, maintain, and monitor documentation. MIS qMS forms a pool of documents that qualitatively describe everything that happens to the donor, the prepared transplant and the recipient. This is a large amount of structured information. The completion of JACIE accreditation largely depends on the documents provided by the clinic, which show the scope and quality of the work done. Experts compare the information obtained in cross-sectional surveys and In documents.
To pass accreditation, the clinic staff was provided with online space, in which at the first stage it was necessary to enter more than 100 documents characterizing the quality of the transplantation activities of the medical organization.
We determined that qMS already has a significant portion of the information from the JACIE requirement list. Only documents on rounds with discussion of patients turned out to be more than 220 thousand in three years. Without MIS qMS, it would be difficult to submit such a number of documentation completed for all requirements for accreditation. With the help of qMS, we demonstrated how the clinic's quality control system works and received a credit in the passage of this stage, - commented Maria Vladovskaya, head of the hospital registers department, senior researcher at the Pavlov PSPbGMU. |
The qMS information system not only collects data about the clinic. It provides them for further business intelligence. Its use allows you to effectively analyze financial, operational, laboratory and clinical information, make management decisions, track the condition of patients and donors, see analytics in pictures on survival and complications. This also affects the improvement in the quality of medical care, - said Olga Vasilyeva, head of the situation center of St. ARM. |
Based on the documentation announced for accreditation, video work of all departments of the clinic, interviews with heads, doctors and nurses, requested additional documents and demonstration of the online capabilities of the MIS, the clinic of the Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Transplantology confirmed compliance with the requirements for the quality of bone marrow transplantation technologies and safety control methods, as well as the quality of processes performed.
