2024: Product Announcement

At the end of March 2024, Yadro introduced the first data center switches in its range. We are talking about devices of the Kornfeld line.

The maximum throughput of the equipment is declared at 3.2 Tbit/s. The new products support L2 and L3 traffic processing and provide a set of traditional network protocols for data centers, including OSPF, BGP, ECMP, VRRP, MLAG and SSH, SNMP, REST API management interfaces.

The manufacturer draws attention to the fact that in the switches you can set the direction of blowing cooling fans. All ports are on the front, and the rear panel has access to two power supplies and six fans with the ability to replace them without stopping the device.

Kornfeld is completely our development, from a hardware platform to software, - comments Pavel Egorov, Product Director of Yadro. - We aimed to create a product with an optimal combination of functionality, performance and reliability that would be most suitable for high-load data centers and meet customer needs in various use cases.

According to him, the systems are produced at the full-cycle plant "Core Fab Dubna" and meet all the requirements for domestic equipment. Yadro adds that Kornfeld switches are built with state-of-the-art switching technologies and provide integration with Yadro server, network equipment, and storage systems to create ready-made data center solutions. The company plans to produce even more productive and functional switches depending on the needs and requests of customers.^[1]
