2024: Testing for Cashback Payment and Cashback Return operations in the SBP

On April 2, 2024, Right Line announced the successful completion of testing the SBP Connect solution for the Cash Back Payment and Cashback Return banking scenarios in the Fast Payment System (SBP). The test results confirmed the full compliance of the solution with all the requirements of the NWS OPCC standard.

Test tests were carried out as part of the launch of an instant online cashback service from April 1, 2024 when paying for goods and services through the SBP. During the test tests of SBP Connect, the operability of the solution was assessed during the operations of SBP B2C "Cashback Payment" and SBP C2B "Cashback Return" in the role of Payer Bank and Recipient Bank.

To implement the service and ensure cashback payments, banks will need certain technical improvements. The solution from Right line meets the requirements of the SBP OPCC and is able to provide banks with the implementation of various transfer scenarios, including the payment and return of cashback.

Online cashback when paying through the SBP will give users the opportunity to receive instant payments that will go to their account immediately after payment. This feature in the Express Checkout System will make the payment process more profitable for all participants.
