2024: Inclusion in the register of Russian software
Ministry of Digital Development of Russia included register of Russian software in its own development "" Rostelecom- the Felix project control automation system. This is a PPM (Project Portfolio Management) solution that allows you to manage the company's project portfolio. The developer announced this on April 2, 2024.
Felix is a single information space designed to improve the efficiency of planning, management, monitoring the timing of work and team activities within project portfolios. The system allows you to automate the processes of strategic and tactical control of the project activities of the enterprise.
The Information System (IS) was based on the Project Management Standard (PMI PMBOK). With the help of Felix IS, it was necessary to solve the following problems: automation of the entire project management process, avoiding a disparate informal method of storing project documentation, creating one reliable and current source of information about projects, involving key participants through informing about important events in projects.
The software solution allows you to maintain a register of all projects, programs and portfolios of enterprise projects. IP is the main source of information on projects: work schedules, project team, project motivation, business cases, automated status reports, description and monitoring of risks, KPIs, the register of lessons learned, hourly accounting of employee time and much more.
Felix integrates into the IT landscape of the enterprise, in particular, with the BI system and financial ERP systems. To inform, corporate mail and chatbot are used, mechanisms for importing and exporting data from MS Excel and MS Project formats are implemented. Each project in Felix IS can be integrated with the project or space in Jira and Confluence. The system generates a graphical dashboard for all project portfolios, reporting with key indicators of the project management process.
 | Solutions for the digitalization of management systems are becoming most relevant, given the increasing need for business and corporations in Russian IT systems and the desire for effective use of resources. Felix has already been used by Rostelecom since 2020. Since 2023, IP has been used as the main corporate portfolio management system in the management of Rostelecom's corporate project office. Felix is actively developing in connection with Rostelecom's plans to bring the system to the Russian software market with the ability to install a solution in the customer's loop or cloud.
