2024: Transition to a domestic solution to protect communication channels

Rosselkhozbank replaced foreign equipment to protect communication channels with a Russian decision from S-Terra CSP, which announced this on April 2, 2024. A protected geographically distributed network unites the bank's offices throughout Russia. The equipment was supplied by the domestic integrator Cross Technologies. The project was also attended by technical specialists of the bank and RSHB-Intekha.

Check Point devices were replaced with S-Terra VPN gateways in a geographically distributed network that unites bank offices throughout Russia.

After conducting competitive testing, the bank decided in favor of selling the product from S-Terra. The results made it possible to successfully solve the set tasks: to evenly distribute the load on communication channels using dynamic routing, which minimized the number of failures, protect the distributed network using Russian equipment with GOST encryption, and implement direct secure access from all offices to the data center, providing a redundant configuration of devices.

According to the schedule and without stopping operations, we delivered the necessary equipment to protect the bank's distributed network as part of the import substitution program. Our cooperation with S-Terra CSP confirms that Russian technologies are competitive and reliable.
