By introducing Astra Group products, Technopark plans to achieve two goals. The first is to replace foreign technologies in accordance with the requirements of the regulator and solve your own business problems. The second is the creation of a productive and scalable IT environment for the operation of the Demonstration Site of Russian vendors.

Demopolygon is a meeting place for representatives of business, government organizations and ordinary users with key vendors. The site is a constantly operating exhibition of domestic IT: from servers and switches, to operating systems and virtualization platforms. Visitors to the landfill can receive direct advice from vendors on applied issues of product use, as well as see the solutions presented in action.

The import substitution project "Technopark of St. Petersburg" is being implemented on the existing infrastructure without interfering with the existing business processes of the company. In the early stages, three servers with virtualization will be connected to the local computer network of the Technopark, part of the computing resources will provide corporate communications, part of the functionality of the Demonstration Polygon, on the basis of which it will be possible to deploy and show any IT solution on demand. Previously, Technopark used foreign software products, mainly Microsoft: Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Hyper-V, etc. Migration to Russian solutions will take place within the next 6-8 months with professional technical support from Astra Group.

Solving import substitution problems, we get and use new opportunities to create larger, more productive systems that not only meet the requirements of the regulator, but also have many advantages for users. They are more convenient to work with, they are better protected and fully ready for further development and scaling. Our partners have developed just such a system - not just a replacement for the old one, but a more technologically mature solution with a big groundwork for the future, since as the Technopark Demonstration Site grows, the need for virtualization and computing resources will only grow. Together we have selected the optimal combination of software products for various tasks of the Technopark and now this large-scale plan is being actively implemented, - said Anton Ogorodnikov, Deputy Director of the Regional Development Department in the North-West Federal District of Astra Group.
