2024: Implementation of TOOLSiD Intelligent System

Pulse Telecom delivered the intelligent system TOOLSiDOOO "Factor," which owns the Zolla brand. Impulse Telecom announced this on April 10, 2024.

The company LLC "Factor" faced the problem of storing and issuing data collection terminals (shipping documentation). Previously, all shipping documentation was stored under the key in the operational office, which made their availability difficult and led to a loss of time when issuing them to employees and accepting them for storage. The monitoring of the serviceability and presence of shipping documentation was carried out manually, which was an ineffective and time-consuming process.

That is why the company decided to automate the process of storing and issuing shipping documentation, strengthen control over the use of devices, as well as increase the performance and efficiency of warehouse operations. To do this, it was decided to implement an intelligent storage system.

When selecting equipment for implementation into business processes of automatic storage and delivery system, Factor LLC set the following tasks:

  • Collection and analysis of data on devices and their effective redistribution;
  • Accurate control over the use of devices;
  • Automate the handover/acceptance process, reduce changeover time, increase productivity.

Pulse Telecom offered the company a model with 34 vertical cells TOOLSiD ATU-TID-34-PW, which made it possible to automate the issuance and acceptance of shipping documentation, as well as to conduct accurate control over the use of devices. The selected system executes all customer requests as part of its business process:

  • Automation of issuance and acceptance of shipping documentation, consumables, any other devices;
  • Define scenarios of operation and access to equipment for different users/groups of users;
  • Collection of data on the intensity of use - creating an opportunity for the redistribution of the free fund between warehouses;
  • Identification of data on battery wear for their timely replacement;
  • Identifying negligent employees or unreliable models;
  • Organization of control over use;
  • Integration into the service center system for prompt notification and repair of equipment;
  • Storage of kits;
  • Operation in postal mode.

With the introduction of intelligent storage, the business processes of the company have improved significantly. Shift time was reduced, and optimizing the tracking of employees' time in work or on a break helped to improve time accounting. Integration of TOOLSiD into the service center system has also reduced downtime by eliminating technical shipping documentation failures more quickly.

Factor LLC plans to scale the solution in other warehouses and in other business processes, as it has significantly increased the efficiency of operations and control over the use of technical devices.
