Implementation of the WMS system of Logistics Vision Suite in a logoparka "An aspen grove"

On November 30, 2010 the ant Technologies company announced project completion on automation of a warehouse complex of 27,000 sq.m in a logoparka "An aspen grove", one of the largest logistic complexes of St. Petersburg.

This system has a certain functionality, potential on its adaptation for the solution of individual specialized tasks, supports work with MS SQL DBMS and, at completion, with Oracle, contains the innovation tools on the basis of visualization tools of business processes. Modern system architecture which will allow to perform its technical support and support of the project by own forces> became an important argument for us also.

During the project specialists of ant Technologies automate about 60 at the same time working places, implementation of basic system module of Warehouse Vision covering all typical warehouse transactions and also the module AVS is made. The software module of AVS is intended for optimization of placement of a trade inventory in a warehouse on the basis of the ABC analysis method. The functionality of the module allows to calculate values of an ukhodimost of goods on the basis of data analysis of previous periods and to generate tasks for movements of goods according to the calculated values. Thus, use of the module AVS allows to reduce routes of warehouse personnel, to reduce labor input of the executed transactions of selection of units of cargo.

Implementation of provider of logistics services of a billing system, necessary for work, is made. The module Logistics Billing provides full control over the volume of the executed transactions, formation and support of documentation and detailed reports on the made warehouse transactions.

The Logistics Vision Suite system is integrated with the weight equipment, thus, by means of specially developed algorithms acceptance of weight goods and its placement is automated, weight control at selection transactions is exercised. Integration is also made with shattlovy storage systems of goods.

Within the project together with group of specialists the logoparka<Осиновая роща> is made unique integration of the WMS system of Logistics Vision Suite and the ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics Axapta - in addition to the standard data exchange interface the interface with a billing system within which data exchange on the services rendered to 3PL, by price lists, regular billing reports and accounts for clients is performed is implemented.
