2024: Plan for the implementation of a single telemetry control panel

Member of the Management Board, Head of the Department of Gazprom PJSC Vadim Simdyakin and General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC Sergey Gustov held a strategic session on the implementation and development of the Unified telemetry systems control panel based on Gazprom Mezhregiongaz St. Petersburg LLC. Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering announced this on April 15, 2024.

EPU STM is a Russian software product developed by a subsidiary of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering Group. The digital complex makes it possible to unify the process of collecting, processing and storing information on the transportation and supply of gas to end consumers, and also provides control of technological parameters for gas distribution facilities.

The technological solution is integrated with smart meters and, together with gas pollution monitoring systems and disconnecting devices, significantly increases the safety of natural gas use in everyday life.

As a result of the event, it was decided to continue the implementation of the Unified telemetry systems control panel for regional gas companies and gas distribution organizations, as well as to launch two pilot projects in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region to equip individual territories with intelligent gas metering devices.

It is important that EPU STM is a completely Russian product both in terms of software and in terms of hardware. As of April 2024, telemetry control has already covered 90% of fuel supplies to industrial consumers. We will continue to work to bring this figure to 100% throughout the country, said Sergey Gustov.
