2024: Automating Marketplaces Operations
"First Bit" automated work with marketplaces in the company "Alpha Trend" using the BIT module. Management of marketplaces. This was announced by "First Bit" on April 15, 2024.
Alpha Trend is a manufacturer of cornices and their components in Novosibirsk. As of April 2024, the brand's pages are more than 200 cards with various cornices, hundreds of positive reviews and a large number of products sold. For example, more than 19,000 cornices have already been sold on Wildberries.
The client's employees wanted to reduce the time for entering data on working with marketplaces. For example, to change the price, you had to manually enter it first in the Wildberries personal account, and then duplicate the data in the Ozon personal account.
The next, much important, task was to clearly track the balances, control the timely production and delivery to warehouses, since one of the key advantages of Alfa Trend is the quick delivery of goods in the form in which the buyer ordered it.
To solve these problems, the client turned to the Novosibirsk office of First Bit. After the assessment of the work, the tasks were set to set up automated support schemes, implement inventory maintenance according to the Min-Max scheme for virtual warehouses, and implement and train the built-in processing "Formation of orders for needs."
The specialists of the First Bit of the Novosibirsk office chose the BIT module. Management of Marketplaces, connected to the 1C: Integrated Automation 2.5 program, in which the client worked.
"BIT. Managing Marketplaces" is a product for 1C programs that was developed by the "First Bit" team. The solution allows you to simplify and automate the main tasks of working with any marketplaces, including Wildberries and Ozon.
So that Alfa Trend employees can start work, the specialists of the Novosibirsk office introduced the module and integrated it with personal accounts at Wildberries and Ozon. Then all the goods sold were loaded from these offices.
For each of the marketplaces in "1C: Integrated Automation 2.5" also created virtual warehouses for finished products. To control the situation with a sufficient number of orders in warehouses, you have set parameters for minimum and maximum stocks. Now, if the system sees a quantity below the minimum, it can generate replenishment orders.
BIT. The management of Marketplaces combines accounting in 1C with commission sales, and the ability to modify 1C allows you to customize processes specifically for business features. With each client, we open new boundaries of automation and solve new problems, - said Dimitri Pletnev, project manager for automation of trade in marketplaces, First Bit Office Novosibirsk Mayakovsky. |
Speaking about the results of the work, Dimitri Pletnev noted that errors in accounting for the period from the beginning of 2023 were corrected. Initially, sales were not entirely correct: through sales, and not through transfers. Because of this, it was not clear which goods were actually sold and which were transferred to marketplaces. The specialists of the First Bit corrected all implementations for transfers so that the client had the opportunity to receive a detailed report of the commissioner and receive data on the cost of goods. As a result of the completed project, the client received a single solution for working with two marketplaces in one window.
Now the data is updated automatically and regularly, so Alfa Trend employees do not need to check each time whether the changes in the item cards have been reflected. The accounting of goods is now carried out correctly both in terms of transfers and in terms of sales, and the real cost of all goods is visible.
