The Sarex platform is a comprehensive solution for the digitalization of construction projects. It includes digital monitoring designed to control and analyze the processes taking place on the construction site, as well as a common data environment for working together on projects of architects, designers, engineers and builders. The solution complements the platform, allowing specialists to work with the fourth dimension, integrating plans and schedules into their projects.
The graph is the main essence in construction, which is often understood and used differently for different tasks, and its compliance with fact is controlled in non-obvious ways. Sarex decided to facilitate this process for participants in construction projects by developing functionality for working with the schedule, which provides various visulations and is associated with other entities of the platform.
The product "Planning" is designed to improve the quality of work of designers and improve construction management processes. The functionality allows you to create and maintain any schedules, including the release of design documentation and construction and installation works. In addition, specialists can work in the product in 4D mode, combining the BIM model with the plan.
Like other Sarex products, the solution works through a web interface, which provides quick access to information for an unlimited number of authorized users, contains a flexibly customizable role model, has an intuitive interface and fine-tuning capabilities.

The product will allow you to import and export graphs from programs for project planning - there is already support for MS Project, Project Server and Primavera will be added in the near future. This ensures interoperability and efficiency between different departments and teams, allows you to control the planned deadlines for design and construction and installation work, as well as make changes to schedules created in third-party systems directly from the Sarex platform ․
A separate product interface allows you to create an unlimited number of projects and select different views for schedules. At the moment, a table view, Gantt charts and kanban boards are available for distributing tasks among employees. Conditional formatting rules help to quickly identify problem areas that do not fit on time. Filters allow you to view the distribution of tasks between performers. In the near future, a workload view (resource graph) will be added, which will allow you to see the workload of a specific specialist in the context of the intersection of tasks and redistribute it in a timely manner when the permissible values are exceeded.
The product allows you to describe routine operations and create triggers that will automatically start regular processes. For example, after approval, the distribution or new approval may start, a new document will be created, etc.; the list of triggers and automatic actions is constantly supplemented. In the future, automation will be divided into two classes: scripts for the entire company and user scenarios in which automation is configured individually.
For experienced users, there is a tool for linking graphics and BIM models. This tool allows you to apply the principles of 4D modeling in your work, visualize the construction stages directly on the graphical display of the model, and track the planned state of the object on the timeline. In addition, the 4D scenario improves the effectiveness of digital monitoring of the actual state of construction, allowing you to clearly compare the plan and fact for specific stages of work.
For April 2024, the Planning product is a full-fledged solution for managing the schedules of design and construction work, it presents the tools most in demand by users of the Sarex platform. Work on the development of the solution continues, additional functionality is developed in close contact with the company's customers, discussed at regular meetings, webinars and events. The "Planning" backlog includes new plan views, an extension to the list of automation scenarios, the addition of a fifth dimension - estimate documentation.
