In addition to Pavlova, other top managers of the RSKB - Tatyana Nikitina, Ekaterina Baranova, Lilia Mironova and Galina Likhacheva - became defendants in the case. According to the investigation, holding senior and managerial positions in the bank, these persons committed "theft of someone else's property" on an especially large scale. The case file says that the defendants realized the impossibility of returning credit funds. At the same time, they made financial transactions and transactions that do not have economic feasibility, allegedly related to settlements for goods and services. Criminal activity was carried out from April 2003 to June 2015. In order to conceal fraud, the bulk of the stolen funds - more than 19.1 billion rubles - was returned to the bank as repayment of principal amounts, interest, fines and other payments on previously issued loans. At the same time, more than 1.5 billion rubles were appropriated and used by the participants in the criminal scheme at their discretion.

All persons involved in the case were found guilty under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (embezzlement), and Pavlova was also convicted under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed using his official position, on an especially large scale). The court sentenced Pavlova to 8 years in prison, Baranova and Nikitin to 6 years in prison, Likhachev and Mironov to 5 years in prison.[1]
