Myanmar's Ministry of Transport and Communications has launched a federal system for digital communication and video conferencing. The core of the network was the Russian platforms TrueConf Server and TrueConf MCU, representatives of the Trukonf company told the TAdviser portal on April 22, 2024. MOTC specialists chose TrueConf Server as the kernel of the updated video conferencing system. The solution runs on its own transport protocol, which eliminates the risks of blocking and restrictions and ensures the independence of communications from IT solution providers.

In addition to the creation of a network of corporate communications, the meeting rooms of the ministry were also modernized. To scale the received VKS network and optimize the management of VKS terminals Polycom Cisco and on the basis of the ministry, the TrueConf MCU was deployed - a domestic software server video conference for hardware terminals, with which you can conduct video conferences with up to SIP 150/H.323 devices.

Ministry employees use a single address space, which allows colleagues from different departments to fully interact with each other, make video calls, plan group conferences, and exchange messages in group and personal chats.

In total, the created VKS network made it possible to unite more than 400 employees of the ministry for remote meetings, trainings for employees, workshops and hybrid events. According to the customer, the implementation of TrueConf VKS has increased the speed of decision-making, and timely communication between the distributed departments of the department has been established.
