2024: Product Announcement
In April 2024, the "Roselectronics company" Optron introduced a line of diodes for radar, telecommunications, aviation, crypto protection systems, machine vision and laser rangefinding. According to the press service of Roselectronics, we are talking about a promising electronic component base (ECB) developed as part of the import substitution program.
In particular, Optron presented silicon-based avalanche photodiodes and gallium indium arsenide. The products are highly sensitive semiconductor devices that convert light into an electrical signal. The devices are used in radio stations, radio numbers and radio altimeters, in signal encryption equipment, access routers, aircraft equipment and radar stations. Such photodiodes are highly sensitive semiconductor devices that convert light into an electrical signal due to the photo effect. They can be considered as photodetectors that provide internal amplification through the avalanche multiplication effect.
In addition, Optron showed heterostructures based on semiconductor materials of A3B5 (gallium arsenide, gallium nitride, silicon carbide), which are the basis for the manufacture of any laser diodes, LEDs and photodetectors. It is noted that the company has its own technology for growing heterostructures and a production line for their serial production.
"Roselectronics enterprises are constantly increasing the range of import-substituting ECB produced, expanding their own competencies and increasing production capacities. The development and development of technologies for the production of an opto- and photoelectronic component base is one of the priorities of the Strategy for the Development of the Electronic Industry of Russia until 2030, "the holding said in a statement[1]
