IT integrator "First Bit" has increased the security of personal data of employees of the metal trading company "Inokstreid," separating personnel accounting into a separate information system. This "First Bit" reported on May 2, 2024.

For two years Inokstreid worked in the 1C: Integrated Automation program. All processes were conducted in this system, including work with personnel and wages. However, structural changes began in the company, and continuing to work in a single system could lead to a decrease in the level of security of personal data of employees.

For the management of Inokstreid, the safety of personal data and compliance with the law of 152-FZ are very important, so the company decided to start keeping personnel records regardless of the main system.

Inokstreid saw the necessary functionality in the "Salary and personnel" block of the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 3.1 KORP" program. The First Bit team, Paveletskaya's project office, was chosen as the executor of the project.

Maintaining personnel records in a separate configuration reduces access to personal data to a minimum. A separate circuit builds an additional "security wall" around personal data. Employees working in the main system "1C: Integrated Automation" do not have access to them and see only in a generalized form. Thus, companies can narrow down the circle of employees who have access to sensitive information and reduce the risk of leaks.

All inaccuracies and questions encountered during the difficult transfer of data were promptly corrected by the employees of the First Bit project team. As a result of the work of the IT integrator "First Bit," Inokstreid increased the security of data about employees, the company's work began to fully comply with the law in working with personal data. Thanks to the separate configuration of 1S:ZUP 3.1 BCC, the program is updated quickly and without difficulties.

In addition, the company has become available additional opportunities for an expanded version of the KORP 1S:ZUP: working with candidates, training employees, maintaining a personnel reserve, planning the need for candidates, motivation for grades and benefits, and labor protection measures.
