On May 18, 2024, the Ministry of Defense launches, as defined by the current law [on mobilization rules], an electronic office of a military person. And we, the team, are doing everything in order to be in time, as determined by law, to make this function available, "Chernogorenko said in an interview with the Ukrainian service of the Radio Liberty radio station (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent and entered into the register of undesirable organizations). Her words are quoted by TASS.

An electronic office for military personnel is being launched in Ukraine

As the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explained, the electronic office for military personnel will be a mobile application that was created in an "atmosphere of time trouble." Ekaterina Chernogorenko added that by the beginning of May 2024, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense is completing the technical development of the product and receives permits that are necessary for the application to work.

In April 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law creating an electronic register of military prisoners. According to this initiative, all kinds of data about citizens will be collected in the register, for which their consent will not be required.

It is noted that the electronic database will combine information about the phone numbers of Ukrainians, e-mail, permission to own weapons, knowledge of foreign languages, the presence of a driver's license and many other personal data, including the details of domestic and foreign passports.[1]
