In early April 2024, Petgugu Global announced the world's first smart cat toilet with built-in flushing. The device, according to the developer, makes life easier for pet lovers, helping to keep the home clean and saving the room from unpleasant odors.

To use the Petgugu toilet, it must be connected to the water supply and sewerage system, as well as to the electrical network. The novelty is compatible with any water-soluble fillers for cat toilets. The equipment includes various sensors - infrared and ultrasonic, as well as a pressure sensor. They track when the pet enters and exits the cabin. After the pet leaves the device, an automatic flush is performed.

The novelty is equipped with intelligent deodorization and disinfection functions. The mode of killing microbes with ultraviolet light is said to destroy 99% of bacteria. The toilet is suitable for pets of different weights - from 1 to 11 kg. Thanks to a significant supply of filler, the device can be used in houses where several cats live at once.

In addition, pet health monitoring functions are integrated into Petgugu. An HD night vision camera is built into the toilet, functioning around the clock. It monitors the habits of the pet, and also allows monitoring the state of its feces in real time: this will be useful, for example, in cases where the animal is sick. In addition, the weight of the cat is regularly recorded. Thus, in the event of any potentially dangerous changes, the owners will be able to quickly seek help from a veterinarian. The device also received support for remote control through a mobile application.^[1]
