Gelarm Infrastructure Management System (GIMS)

2024: Compatibility with Red OS

Gelarm, developer of the Gelarm Infrastructure Management System (GIMS) software solution for monitoring and inventory of data from large industrial enterprises and telecom operators, and Red Soft signed a cooperation agreement and tested their solutions for compatibility. As a result of the tests, the compatibility and correctness of the GIMS and Red OS solution is fully confirmed, which is recorded in the relevant protocols and certificates of vendors. Red Soft announced this on May 3, 2024.

The Gelarm Infrastructure Management System (GIMS) solution consists of the following modules:

• GIMS Automation is a system for integrating various information systems with each other. The system provides connections to various data sources, information processing scenarios, triggers for running information processing scenarios.
• GIMS Monitoring is a system for monitoring organization services. The system provides collection and correlation of service events, collection of performance metrics and service quality.
• GIMS Inventory - an inventory system of equipment, software and infrastructure objects. The system provides infrastructure topologies, creating data models that describe object classes, relationships, and their attributes.

The components of the GIMS line are open source, edinoy̆ klasternoy̆ arkhitekturoy̆ and seamless integration. All products of the GIMS line are included in the Unified Register of Russian computer and database programs.

GIMS compatibility with RED OS ensures efficiency in working with customer infrastructures when deploying a monitoring system or developing projects for import substitution of solutions that have left the Western vendor market. The confirmed correctness of the Russian software also removes barriers to a comprehensive approach to import substitution and ultimately ensures the continuity of the customer's IT infrastructure in terms of monitoring and inventory of data.
