2024: View System Presentation

Holding "Shvabe" State Corporation Rostec has created a sample thermal imaging system for transport "Vzglyad." Rostec announced this on May 6, 2024. The device installed on the roof of the car is able to detect a human figure at a distance of up to 300 m, and at a distance of half a kilometer - to recognize the technique even in conditions of insufficient visibility. The functionality of the system allows you to use it in the interests of structures that are engaged in area exploration, guard objects, patrol territories, and also conduct search and rescue operations.

The Vzglyad thermal imaging system was created by engineers of the Vologda Optical and Mechanical Plant (VOMZ) of the Shvabe holding. It provides the technique with stealth, allowing you to control the vehicle at night and monitor the area with the headlights turned off.

The infrared image is visualized using a thermal imager with a matrix resolution of 640x512. The complex is attached to the roof of the vehicle and connected to a monitor located in front of the driver. Information arrives on the screen in real time, and the clarity of the picture when moving is provided by a high-resolution optical system of a thermally stabilized lens with a microbolometer.

The thermal imaging complex developed by Schwabe specialists will be of interest to both law enforcement agencies and security structures. The range of the device reaches 500 meters. Unlike other similar devices, Vzglyad guarantees high image quality, which significantly speeds up decision-making in emergency situations. In the future, we plan to launch Vzglyad into mass production with a volume of up to 100 thousand products per year, "said Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the cluster of conventional weapons, ammunition and special chemistry of Rostec State Corporation, a member of the SoyuzMash Bureau of Russia.
