The OT-OIL company completed the project on development and deployment of the information system of environmental monitoring (ISEM) of the offshore fields located in a northern part of the Caspian Sea in LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhskneft LLC.
The LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhskneft company performs mastering, development and operation of oil fields. For the purpose of prevention and early identification of potential undesirable impact on the environment environmental engineers of the company carry out permanent monitoring of an ecological situation near fields. Creation of ISEM (as parts of a monitoring system of the enterprise) will help specialists of the company to increase quality of the made decisions and to reduce the probability of approach of unfavorable events.
ISEM a system gives the chance to ecologists and managers TsDU in the automatic and manual mode on the basis of ecological requirements to perform collecting of environmental properties, to control operation of the equipment and in time to undertake necessary measures for correction of a situation.
ISEM is developed on the basis of the requirements created by specialists of LUKOIL-INFORM company. ISEM is the cornerstone the platform the ATOLL (own development of OT-OIL company for the oil and gas industry) using as the Oracle Database 10g DBMS database. Regarding implementation of geoinformation services in it the components developed by PRIME GROUP company on the basis of a product family of ArcGIS of production of ESRI are applied.
Information in ISEM is transmitted through the systems of telemetry installed on offshore ice-resistant stationary platform and in its immediate environment (a zone of local control). Within monitoring of oil pollution ISEM allows to load in the automated mode data of remote sensing of Earth from space in the form of bitmap and vector images. Further these data will serve as the reference information in the visual analysis of an ecological situation.
Users of a system have a possibility of the evident analysis of collected data on charts and diagrams both in ISEM, and in the MS Excel. For the purpose of decision making acceleration a system also gives an opportunity of storage and viewing regulating, reference and operational documents in uniform storage. Within this option report generation of the state and corporate sample is possible.
Using preview players of space data in GIS component ISEM ecologists and managers TsDU can build and browse electronic allocation maps of controlled parameters. Use of these data (including, received from satellites) is necessary at any stage of work: at input and viewing documents, management of ecological requirements, the analysis of measurements of environmental properties and the analysis of events (accidents, violations, false operations).
Important function of the implemented system is the possibility of creation and visualization of the express forecast of movement of oil pollution at possible abnormal floods. At creation of the express forecast hydroweather conditions around accident (temperature, the direction and traverse speed of air and water masses) are considered as characteristic of oil spill (amount, the place and its type), and.
Next year development of ISEM regarding improvement of instruments of creation of the forecast of movement of oil pollution is supposed. On the basis of modern mathematical models the specialized module of behavior modeling of these pollution will be developed. At its creation the actual and predicted hydrometeodata received from ROSHYDROMET will be used. Results of modeling will allow to increase justification of the made decisions during localization and liquidation of possible abnormal oil spills.
