In mid-May 2024, Xiaomi began selling the Mijia Smart Gas Stove S2 smart gas stove. The novelty, which has a number of intelligent features, is offered at an estimated price of $120.

The maximum fired power of the plate is 5200 W in natural gas mode and 4800 W in liquefied gas mode. The fire cover is made of brass, which ensures an even distribution of heat. The design of the plate uses a new generation storage disk, which provides thermal efficiency up to 65% due to the use of thickened material.

Xiaomi

The novelty is equipped with a precision handle with a rotation angle of 230 degrees, thanks to which an accurate multi-stage adjustment of fire power is achieved in accordance with various cooking requirements. The heads of the burners and grids for pots and pans can be easily removed for cleaning. Plate panel is made of tempered glass.

The Mijia Smart Gas Stove S2 has passed a series of leak tests on the gas pipeline and combustion system to ensure maximum safety. Smart features include a timer with automatic shutdown of gas supply and a system of reminders to turn off the stove. In particular, when the stove is continuously used for more than one hour, the Mijia mobile app sends a notification to the user: this prevents accidents due to negligence.

The Mijia Smart Gas Stove S2 is equipped with two burners. Soft wipes can be used to care for the cooktop. Automatic oil smoke absorption system is implemented. It is also said that the new Xiaomi smart gas stove is designed taking into account the requirements of optimal hygiene.^[1]
