2024: Logareon WMS Implementation

Warehouse Management Company Uzbekistan - a player in the 3PL market in the country - has optimized warehouse logistics with LOGAREON WMS. This was announced on May 16, 2024 by representatives of Logareon.

As reported, Warehouse Management Company has opened a modern logistics 3PL hub in Uzbekistan, which serves customers around the clock. In search of ways for growth and development, WMC Uzbekistan drew attention to the product - LOGAREON WMS.

The company's management has relied on system performance, fast data processing, fast access to information, as well as a modern technology stack (microservice architecture), flexible analytical reporting tools and an intuitive user interface.

LOGAREON WMS was implemented at the Class A warehouse complex and the Class B customs warehouse. The complex has access to railway tracks and can load and unload freight cars.

The complex was previously automated, but the previous warehouse management system did not meet the increasing needs of the client. For example, in the previous system, there was no possibility of selecting whole pallets and a specific pallet (cargo item). To select a particular pallet, it was necessary to block the pallets unnecessary for selection and plan selection, as a result, loss of time that can be used for other warehouse transactions. LOGAREON WMS takes into account the possibility of selecting whole and specific pallets.

Also, the existing system did not have an automatic billing function and the Customer had to keep records in third-party software, which negatively affected the accuracy of fixing pallet storage. LOGAREON WMS for billing implements flexible settings for fixing storage and operations in real time, which significantly optimized the process of billing and made settlements transparent to customers.

In addition, the Customer has implemented the previously missing functionality - inventory planning. The warehouse had to carry out an inventory "on a piece of paper," which is a long and inaccurate way. On the inventory day, you had to stop the warehouse for a long time to carry out the inventory. LOGAREON WMS has implemented flexible functionality of planned inventory by counterparty cells or article with subsequent formation of an act.

With the updated WMC warehouse management system, Uzbekistan achieved the following results:

  • In the first month of use of LOGAREON WMS, an 85% increase in inventory inventory accuracy was noted.
  • Selection planning, selection and shipment now take a small amount of time - only about 15 minutes, which allows the company to quickly respond to changes in demand and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • The effectiveness of shelf life control increased by 75% in the first month after the launch of LOGAREON WMS.
  • Order processing speed up 45%

In general, the implementation of LOGAREON WMS and automation of process control allowed the company to optimize its operational efficiency, reduce costs and optimize the quality of services provided. The launch of the WMS during the low intensity period of the warehouse turned out to be a strategically correct decision. This approach allowed us to focus all efforts on launching the project, minimizing possible risks and ensuring a smoother and more efficient implementation. According to company representatives, during the project it is important to take into account not only your own technological needs and capabilities, but also external factors, such as seasonality and changes in market conditions.
