2024: Application in cities of the Russian Federation

On May 24, 2024, it became known about the use of the NtechCity city container site monitoring system in Nizhny Novgorod, Ulyanovsk, Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk and Nizhnekamsk. This is a development by NtechLab.

According to the press service of Rostec, the NtechCity platform has been tested in these cities, and by the end of May 2024, the issue of commercial implementation of the service there is being discussed. By this date, the decision is also being tested in Anapa, Samara and Yaroslavl.

It became known about the use of the monitoring system for the state of city container sites NtechCity

The NtechCity platform, using artificial intelligence algorithms and a video monitoring system, monitors the cleanliness of container sites, detects overcrowding of containers, arson of garbage, and records cars interfering with garbage trucks. This helps to respond quickly and keep clean.

According to the CEO of NtechLab Alexei Palamarchuk, the project has a double positive effect. Firstly, it allows you to increase the cleanliness and environmental friendliness of the courtyards where container sites are usually located. Secondly, it becomes possible to improve the quality of services in the housing and communal services sector. For example, the system can clearly show which container sites in the city are low-loaded and do not require daily devastation, Palamarchuk said.

According to the developers, the payback of the project can be carried out, among other things, by issuing fines by artificial intelligence for illegal dumping of garbage or incorrectly parked cars in the zone of passage of garbage trucks near container sites. The service implementation period is from one to five days.

As reported on the manufacturer's website, the NtechCity system can be used only in the search for missing people, to monitor public transport, control the wearing of personal protective equipment[1]
