Product: ICL SafeRAY Monoblocks

Project date: 2024/05
Project's budget: 137 million руб.

At the end of May 2024, it became known that the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation buys more than 2 thousand desktop computers for a total amount of approximately 137 million rubles. The supplier of the equipment will be a small Moscow company "Bayt."

The initial tender price was about 154 million rubles, but the company "Byte," in which as of May 2024 there are only three employees, made a more profitable offer. The company is ready to supply 2276 all-in-one PCs at a price of 60,210 rubles apiece. Thus, the total purchase amount is 137.04 million rubles.

ICL SafeRay All-in-One

The contract provides for the shipment of all-in-one ICL SafeRay models S2411 G3R. The configuration includes a 23.8-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1080 pixels), a 6-core processor with a base clock speed of 2.5 GHz, 16 GB of RAM, a 960 GB solid-state drive, a Gigabit Ethernet network controller, a webcam with a 2-megapixel sensor, DisplayPort interfaces, HDMI, etc. The kit includes a keyboard and mouse.

The original tender documentation states that monoblocks should be delivered to divisions of the Financial University at nine addresses in Moscow and the Moscow region. The goods must comply with the current regulatory and technical documents and regulatory legal acts. All computers shall be guaranteed by the manufacturer for at least 60 calendar months from the date of signing of the acceptance documents by the supplier and the customer.

As noted by CNews, on the ICL SafeRay website, a monoblock computer with the listed characteristics as of the end of May 2024 costs approximately 137 thousand rubles. Thus, Bayt pledged to deliver equipment under a contract at a price more than twice as low as retail.[1]
