2024: Launch of medical clothing production in Uzbekistan

The Novosibirsk company for the production of disposable medical clothing and linen LLC Zdravmedtech-Novosibirsk in April 20224 opened an enterprise in Uzbekistan, in the Tashkent region.

According to the general director of the company Alexei Klevasov, work on entering the market Uzbekistan has been carried out for several years, and in 2023 the company sold products worth almost 1.5 million rubles to this country. This confirmed the need to open a new production facility. The company became part of a chemical-industrial park in the city of Chirchik, and subsequently registered a new factory.

The company will begin operations at the end of May. The first twenty-two people who will be trained for three months will go to work. Zdravmedtech-Asia will produce a line of medical products similar to those produced at the parent enterprise in Berdsk. The general director noted that the creation of a new production facility was made possible thanks to the support of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, whose policy is aimed at attracting foreign investment. There are various preferences for foreign depositors, including reduced tax and customs duty rates.

As noted by Alexey Klevasov, the company also provides humanitarian assistance to residents of new territories, in particular, the Luhansk Republic, where the company purchased equipment for the first-aid post of the Nezabudka orphanage and sent products for the oncological dispensary for more than 1 million rubles.[1]
