The Panaya company conducted a large-scale research of compensations of SAP consultants worldwide (2010 SAP Salary Survey). In its course it was established that the salaries of specialists in the systems of this vendor depend on a number of factors: the version in which the professional, his industry, education level and experience specializes.
However, it is not surprise. At the same time, from outputs of analysts it is possible to gather practical recommendations for workers on the Niva of SAP on increase in monthly salaries. So, it is established that the specialists in SAP working with the version of SAP ERP 6.0 receive 5 - 9% more colleagues working with other versions. The average salary of specialists in SAP in North America and Europe was 20% more, than in other regions of the world.
For comparison annual compensation of the specialist in the systems of SAP in the world for the "internal" employees (working for clients of SAP) makes $90 thousand, and for the staff of integrators - $102 thousand. At the same time the average annual rate of the SAP consultant in North America is equal to $95 thousand, in Europe – $90 thousand, and in other regions of the world - $75 thousand.
Besides, at the specialists employed at clients of SAP, the salary was not depending on number of the SAP employees at all. While among the partner companies SAP (system integrators) there are maximum salaries to the employees where the number of the SAP specialists is from 11 to 50 people: it is no more and not less.

So, among other things most of respondents noted that during the crisis period they experienced for themselves increase in a load of responsibility and instructions when preserving the same labor resources.

In 2009 51% of respondents did not notice change of salaries. 17% announced their reduction whereas 33% - noted growth. At the same time more than a half of respondents laid great hopes for 2010, having hoped that it will bring them an increase to salary.
