In April 2018, Roland Garros, the French Open and one of four Grand Slams, abandoned IBM's IT system. It turned out to be unsuitable for further use due to incorrect work and significant delays in the analysis of information.

Roland Garros has collaborated with IBM for approximately 33 years. However, at the tournament in 2018, IBM's IT platform did not show its best. In particular, the results in real time on the official website were displayed with a delay and incorrect account. In addition, there were problems with the formation of a schedule that was not true. After numerous failures and criticism, Roland Garros decided to switch to the software platform of the Indian company Infosys.

As part of the agreement, Infosys developed an artificial intelligence-based RG Players app for Roland Garros. This product, analyzing huge amounts of information, helps tennis players identify the weaknesses of rivals, determine their own mistakes and develop tactics for individual fights. In addition, RG Players solves everyday issues such as hotel booking, ordering food, passing accreditation, etc. The statistics system gives the most complete information about players online - from the accuracy of the presentation to the forecast of the tennis player's blow, taking into account past matches.

In early 2022, Roland Garros and Infosys expanded their cooperation, extending the agreement until 2026. In 2024, the Indian company released a new application - Infosys Topaz, which provides advanced tools for analyzing gameplay details. In addition, Infosys has developed six separate immersive products, with five aimed at fans and one aimed at players and coaches. Infosys also participated in the creation of the Roland Garros Museum of 3D Images, which presents iconic events in the history of the tournament.[1]
