2024: Product Announcement

The Roselectronics holding announced the development and start of serial production of a line of domestic microwave modules intended for use in ground-based electronic equipment. This was reported by the press service of the holding on June 5, 2024.

New devices created by specialists of the Special Design Bureau for Relay Technology "SKTB RT," which is part of "Roselectronics," are designed to replace foreign analogues produced by the United States of America, Germany and France on the Russian market. The developed microwave modules are capable of switching signals with a frequency of up to 18 GHz and differ in a wide range of operating temperatures - from -60 to 85 degrees Celsius.

Roselectronics announced the development and start of serial production of a line of domestic microwave modules

According to Aleksey Dymovskikh, General Director of SKTB RT, the use of a modern domestic electronic component base (ECB) has significantly reduced the cost of new products by 40-55% compared to foreign components. The developed ECB completely replaces the modules of the 535, 545 and 565 series of Dow Key Microwave Corporation USA, and is also a functional replacement for the products of Radiall SA France, Teledyne Technologies Incorporated USA and Tesat-Spacecom Germany.

According to the Director General, the use of domestic microwave modules will significantly reduce the design time of radioelectronic equipment, increase its technical characteristics and reduce the cost. The developed line of microwave modules has already been launched into mass production and is included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products.

According to the Dymovskys, the development is a significant achievement in the field of import substitution of critical components for electronic equipment and strengthening the technological sovereignty of Russia in this area.[1]
