BMC Integrated Cloud Delivery Platform

The companies Cisco and BMC Softwareobjyavili about creation of strategic alliance which will develop and bring to the market new solutions for large-scale multi-user infrastructures cloud computing. Within alliance both companies will approve the plans for product development and technology architecture to offer customers worldwide a full range of the solutions simplifying and automating delivery of cloud services.

According to the reached agreement Cisco will share with the partner information on how customers develop services in Cisco IP networks and infrastructures of the unified calculations which are considered as one of the best in the industry. Besides, Cisco will provide to Naval Forces the communications with the largest world operators and Internet service providers and also will sell the solutions BMC for the guaranteed delivery of services (Service Assurance) and observance of regulatory requirements (Compliance) as an option for the environment of the unified calculations of Cisco Unified Computing System.

In return, the BMC company will provide to Cisco innovative software solutions for a dynamic binding of cloud and information technologies to the changing requirements of business.

Cisco and BMC already announced availability of a new cloud solution - the integrated platform of the delivery of cloud services (Integrated Cloud Delivery Platform) intended for operators and owners of large private network clouds. This solution will help suppliers of cloud services to implement complex cloud services in cloud computing infrastructure, the including DPC network, computing means, storage systems and applications. The integrated platform of delivery of cloud services will help large service providers of this type to get rid of a set of the difficult manual transactions necessary for setup and activation of cloud computing and to simplify architecture of cloud network.

The joint solution BMC Software and Cisco is intended for work in large-scale private, public and hybrid cloud environments and is under construction at the new level of integration of the software solution BMC Cloud LifeCycle Management (CLM) for management of cloud computing with solutions of Cisco for the networks, computing systems and storage systems working in data processing centers. The integrated platform of delivery of cloud services integrating the solution Cisco Unified Service Delivery with the BMC CLM functions gives to operators new opportunities for significant increase in efficiency, reduction of terms of entry into the market, quality improvement, reduction of complexity and exact observance of statutory and regulatory requirements.
