VolgaTelecom will provide technical capability of distance learning of handicapped children

The Orenburg branch of JSC "VolgaTelecom" won tender for rendering services in equipment of jobs for handicapped children and pedagogical workers the specialized equipment for the organization of remote education of handicapped children. As the customer "The teacher training college of N.K. Kalugin" of Orenburg acted.

The branch undertook obligations for software installation and setup of the equipment and also connection it to the Internet. Until the end of the current year specialists of branch undertook to organize also a communication channel to places of direct accommodation of handicapped children.

The set of the equipment for each child will be individually selected, depending on his physical capacities and restrictions. Its list includes a graphics pad, the webcam, the microphone, earphones, a digital microscope and other equipment. Teachers of college will be provided with the set of the equipment and the software specific to the subject too, and will have special course training.

Nikiforov Dmitry, director of the Orenburg branch of JSC "VolgaTelecom": "It is important to us not just to provide the child with the teacher, and to give him the chance of normal social adaptation. The remote training system of handicapped children will help everyone who is limited on health, to get a full education".

The project on hardware of jobs for the organization of distance learning is performed by branch for the first time. Its implementation will give to the Orenburg handicapped children possibilities of education, equal with the others.
